By using Peshkar you accept the terms below. The service is currently in a pilot.
The service
- Peshkar is an online register for a chamber's cases, hearing dates, clients, fees and deadlines, with date reminders.
- During the pilot, features may be added, changed or removed.
Accounts
- The head of chamber opens the chamber and is responsible for adding, changing and removing members.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
Accuracy of information
- Cases, dates and outcomes in the app are entered by chamber members, and the chamber is responsible for their accuracy. The court's own records and orders are final.
Reminders and calculations are aids only
- SMS or WhatsApp reminders are not guaranteed to arrive — network or provider problems can stop them. Check the diary regularly rather than relying on reminders alone.
- The limitation calculator and cause list check are calculation aids, not legal advice. Before filing, check the law, the court's holiday list and any special statute yourself.
- Peshkar is not liable if a date or deadline is missed because of wrong information, an undelivered reminder or a calculation error.
What you must not do
- Do not try to get into someone else's account or see another chamber's data, send unnecessary or unconsented messages, or do anything that harms the service.
- If this happens, the Peshkar team may turn the chamber's account off.
Closing an account
- The head of chamber can ask for the chamber to be turned off or deleted. The Peshkar team may also turn a chamber off if these terms are broken; turning off does not delete data.
Governing law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
Changes
- Changes will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
